Measurement Report Data Interpretation

Data Items Description

The measurement report includes the following data (unit: millimeters):

1. Basic Measurement Data

  • Distance Pupil Distance (PD): The pupil distance when the subject gazes at a distant target (right eye, left eye).
  • Near Pupil Distance (PD): The pupil distance when gazing at a 30cm distance (right eye, left eye).
  • Note: Pupil distance varies with gaze distance. iFace defaults to measuring near PD at 30cm, with future versions supporting additional distances.
  • Pupil Height:
  • Measurement Frame: Pupil height based on the AMOS measurement frame, recalculated for the user's selected frame after syncing to AMOS.
  • Clip Frame: Pupil height of the current frame.
  • Face Width: Reference data for adjusting the temple spread, not the traditional facial width.

2. Fitting Parameters

  • Temple Length (Measurement Frame Only):
  • Length from the stake to the bend at the end of the temple (not the traditional total length).
  • Guides AMOS in providing the appropriate temple length.
  • Lens-Eye Distance (BVD): Standard lens-eye distance.
  • Forward Tilt Angle:
  • Measurement Frame: Recalculated as the forward tilt angle of the AMOS selected frame after syncing.
  • Clip Frame: Forward tilt angle of the current frame.
  • Calculated using AMOS's proprietary algorithm.
  • Frame Curvature:
  • Measurement Frame: Recalculated as the frame curvature of the AMOS selected frame after syncing.
  • Clip Frame: Curvature of the current frame (varies due to wearing differences compared to standalone frame measurement).
  • Frame A Value: Width of the left and right frame.
  • Frame B Value: Height of the left and right frame.

Notes

  • Data errors are within industry standards, with the V3 version optimizing manual operation and posture errors through AI.
  • After syncing to AMOS, pupil height, forward tilt angle, and frame curvature will be recalculated based on the user's selected frame.
