Clip Frame Measurement Process
Overview
Clip frame measurement is used to measure fitting parameters for existing frames in a store, requiring the frame to be clipped onto the clip frame as centered as possible. Clip frame measurement is a feature provided by AMOS at no cost.
Preparation
- Enter Frame A Value: Obtain the A value from the frame's temples or lenses and enter it accurately (this affects measurement precision).
- Clip the Frame: Secure the frame onto the clip frame, ensuring it is as centered as possible (avoid excessive left-right offset).
Measurement Process
- Initiate Measurement:
- Click "Clip Frame Measurement" on the homepage and enter the A value to begin.
- Take Three Photos:
- First and Second Photos (Frontal): Requirements are the same as for measurement frame measurement; ensure the pose is level.
- Third Photo (Right Side):
- The clip frame side has 3 QR code points; ensure at least 2 are clearly visible.
- The frame's side must not be obstructed by the clip frame.
- Failure Handling: Same as for measurement frame measurement.
- Calibration Points:
- Frontal Frame:
- Adjust the left and right calibration boxes so that all four edges align with the inner edges of the frame (must be the inner edges).
- Side Pupil: Same as measurement frame measurement; align the right edge of the red circle with the right edge of the cornea.
- Side Frame Tangent:
- Adjust the red tangent line to align with the inner edge of the frame.
- Use the blue dot to adjust the tilt angle to match the frame's side tilt.
- Start Measurement:
- Click "Start Measurement"; AI will process the data and redirect to the report page.
- Failure handling is the same as for measurement frame measurement.
Notes
- Ensure the A value is accurate.
- Center the clip frame alignment, avoiding significant offsets.
- Strictly follow the interface prompts for shooting and calibration.
