Measurement Frame Guide

The measurement frame mode is used to measure fitting parameters for AMOS frames. This guide provides a detailed explanation of the measurement process and key considerations.

Measurement Process

Image Description Image Description Image Description

1. Measurement Preparation

  • Ensure the measurement environment has adequate lighting.
  • Adjust the measurement frame's tilt angle, frame width, and nose pad width according to the parameters of the AMOS-selected frame.
  • Ensure the customer's face is directly facing the camera.
  • Check that the camera focus is clear.

2. Photo Capture

The system requires the following photos to be taken:

Frontal Photos (2 Photos)

  • First Photo: Used to measure parameters such as pupil distance and pupil height.
  • Second Photo: Used to verify the measurement results.

Side Photo (1 Photo)

  • Right-side photo: Used to measure parameters such as forward tilt angle and lens-eye distance.
  • Ensure the ear root position is clearly visible.

3. Coordinate Calibration

Frontal Photo Calibration

  • The system automatically identifies pupil positions.
  • Verify the accuracy of the recognition results.

Side Photo Calibration

  • Mark the pupil position.
  • Mark the ear root position (used to calculate temple length).

4. Parameter Calculation

The system automatically calculates the following parameters: - Pupil Distance (PD) - Near Pupil Distance (30cm) - Pupil Height - Lens-Eye Distance (BVD) - Forward Tilt Angle - Frame Curvature - Face Width - Nose Bridge Width - Temple Length

Notes

  1. Measurement Environment
  2. Maintain even lighting in the environment.
  3. Avoid direct strong light.
  4. Ensure a simple background.

  5. Photo Requirements

  6. Keep the face directly facing the camera. Image Description
  7. Maintain a natural facial expression.
  8. Ensure the side photo is taken directly facing the camera. Image Description

  9. Coordinate Calibration

  10. Carefully verify the automatically recognized results.
  11. Manually adjust coordinates if necessary.
  12. Ensure the cornea aligns accurately with the inner edge of the marked position. Image Description

  13. Result Validation

  14. Check if the measurement results are reasonable.
  15. Re-measure if necessary.
  16. Save the measurement records.

Common Issues

  1. Inaccurate Measurement Results
  2. Check the measurement environment lighting.
  3. Confirm the shooting angle is correct.
  4. Verify the accuracy of coordinate calibration.

  5. Unable to Recognize Pupils

  6. Adjust lighting conditions.
  7. Ensure the face is directly facing the camera.
  8. Check for reflections from the measurement frame.

  9. Incorrect Temple Length Calculation

  10. Ensure the ear root position marking is accurate.
  11. Check the quality of the side photo.
  12. Verify the measurement frame position is correct.

Measurement Results

After measurement is complete, the system will generate a detailed parameter report, including: - Specific values for all measured parameters - Measurement timestamp - Customer information
