Measurement Frame Measurement Process
Overview
Measurement frame measurement uses the AMOS measurement frame to simulate glasses, measuring fitting parameters, and is suitable for glasses without physical samples within the AMOS system. Measurement data is converted into parameters for the user's selected frame using AMOS algorithms.
Preparation
- Adjust the Measurement Frame: Adjust the following three settings according to AMOS system prompts:
- Middle Bar Settings: 15, 17, 19, 21 positions.
- Tilt Angle Settings: 4°, 8°, 12°.
- Stake Settings: 0–4 (indicated by the number of circular holes).
- Important: Adjustments must follow AMOS prompts; otherwise, significant measurement deviations may occur.
Measurement Process
- Initiate Measurement:
- Click "Measurement Frame Measurement" on the homepage; an animation will prompt you to adjust the settings.
- Click "Confirm" to begin.
- Take Three Photos:
- First Photo (Frontal):
- The subject wears the measurement frame, places their chin on the tray, and looks directly at the camera.
- The fill light automatically activates, projecting a light circle onto the pupils (cannot be disabled).
- Ensure all 7 QR code points are clearly visible; AI assesses the pose (avoid significant head tilting, lowering, or turning).
- A green dot (10mm above the camera) can be attached to assist with gaze focus.
- Second Photo (Frontal):
- Same requirements as the first photo, but the subject looks at the reflection of the measurement frame QR code in the black reflective mirror outside the camera.
- If the reflection is not visible, the subject may look at any object in the mirror.
- Third Photo (Right Side):
- Ensure all 5 QR code points are clearly visible and unobstructed.
- Maintain a 90° angle between the frame side and the camera, avoiding significant head rotation.
- Failure Handling:
- Causes: QR codes not visible, overexposure, or incorrect pose.
- Click "Retake," adjust lighting or position, and retry.
- If failures persist, contact iFace technical support.
- Calibrate Side Points:
- Pupil Position:
- Use the magnifying glass to adjust the red circle so its right edge aligns with the right edge of the cornea.
- Long-press direction keys for quick movement, short-press for precise adjustment.
- Ear Root Position:
- Adjust the red cursor to the point where the ear meets the temple.
- Refer to the interface animated tutorial.
- Start Measurement:
- Click "Start Measurement"; AI calculates using a cloud-based large model.
- Success: Redirects to the report page.
- Failure: Record is saved to history; re-shoot the side photo or check the network and retry.
Notes
- Ensure the device volume is on for clear voice prompts.
- The camera must be in focus; avoid blurry images.
- Maintain moderate environmental lighting, avoiding overly dark or overexposed conditions.
